In 2006, to reach Chinese government's strict request of tail gas emission of chemical industry, the company spent a large amount of money for the improvement of equipment's acid making and tail gas emission device. The improvement increases the quality and quantity of hydrochloric acid, which makes each ton of potassium sulfate produce 1.25 tons of hydrochloric acid (current design is to make 1 ton of potassium sulfate produce 1.2 tons of hydrochloric acid) and makes percent of first rate acid reach more than 95%. Moreover, it makes the equipment discharge no tail gas. This causes quite a stir in the potassium sulfate industry. Now this set of equipment is put into production in Zhejiang Province Jiaxing City Zhonghua Chemical Factory. No-smoke chimney becomes a unique scenery in this chemical zone.
